Thank you NDLB and Jeff for making the world a more compassionate place

December 15, 2020

2020 started out rough from the get-go when I had to put my pug to sleep on January 2nd. I could not have imagined at that time the incredible journey I was about to embark on with the wonderful team at No Dogs Left Behind. I adopted Maisie (Gwen) in March as the Covid shut down began. As I would look at videos and pictures of her sent to me by the team and how happy she was with her playmates, I knew I had to adopt another NDLB rescue. On my birthday in May, it became official and I added Clemenza (Cruz) to my little family. Clemenza had a health scare in August and once again Jeff and Brandy were there to keep me updated daily on his progress. He pulled through and on November 27th my two angels made it home to me. It was one of the best experiences of my life! Not only were my pugs safe and sound on their way to their new home, I met the most wonderful people including staff, volunteers, and fellow adopters.

Now that Maisie and Clemenza are settled in, it’s like they have always been here. They are well trained and growing as attached to each other as they are to me. I could not imagine my life without them and am so grateful to Jeff and the team for taking care of them and getting them home. I love looking at the adoption page weekly to see all the beautiful souls that have been rescued and will soon be on their way to their own special family. Thank you NDLB and Jeff for making the world a more compassionate place ❤️.
