“On Friday, August 10th, 2018 Brooke came into our homes and hearts thanks to Karina from Trina and Friends k9 Rescue and Jeff from No Dogs Left Behind.
Brooke was rescued by Jeff from No Dogs Left Behind at the Chinese Meat Market in China. I was not sure how she would be because of all that she had been through and just flying over from China on July 28th.
I was pleasantly surprised when this adorable, sweet, and healthy dog entered my life. She is a people lover. Â After she warmed up to me (maybe an hour) she was all over me. She licked me and snuggled me.
It is apparent that the rehabilitation she had in China with Jeff and here with Karina was nothing short of amazing. Â She is sweet, loving and friendly to all people (including children).
She has never shown any aggression to any human in the whole time she has been with us. The day after she came to us, I had to take her on a 5-hour road trip to pick my kids up from camp. It was love at first site from both sides. She slept on my children the whole ride home.
We have since brought her camping and she loved being out in nature and snuggling with us in our camper. Everyone she has met said if they could get a dog, they would want one just like her.  I have told everyone, even strangers and vets about the Chinese meat market and the great work Jeff is doing. It’s vital for these dogs’ survival.
In the Bible the first half of Proverbs 12:10 “A Righteous man cares for the needs of his animal..”.
I truly believe people like Karina from Trina and Friends K9 Rescue and Jeff at No Dogs Left Behind are doing God’s work.”
