Crystal (now Winter) was rescued on 11/17 and made it to the US on 2/15. It’s difficult to properly describe the profound and immediate effect she has had on us already. She has been adjusting so well to life in Williamstown, MA.
She absolutely loves meal time and cheese and is learning to enjoy exploring the outdoors, though she approached it timidly at first. Winter is very trusting and loves getting a pet and brushed (she usually falls asleep as we brush her). She wags her tail each time one of us enters a room and loves to give us her paw. She is content when asleep and curious when awake, and is becoming more adventurous each day.
We are so grateful to Jeff Beri and the NDLB team for rescuing our sweet Winnie, and are so happy we finally have her home with us.
