We are the lucky family that adopted a golden retriever named Hope. When she was first rescued by Jeff and the NDLB team, she was known as the shivering golden who was afraid of humans and dogs. The transformation she made within a few months after being rehabilitated with the love and support from NDLB was incredible to witness.
Although we had to wait a long time to have her fly home to us because of COVID, the team kept us updated constantly and sent us many videos to show us how she was doing. Once she arrived, Hope was a dream come true companion. She is so calm and patient, even with three young kids, and absolutely loves to cuddle.
She showed us that love and forgiveness are possible even after experiencing the darkest and cruelest days of her life. We are forever grateful to Jeff and the team and will always support NDLB as they fight the good fight.
