Our hearts were broken when we lost our beloved 12-year old Golden Retriever last year. Many months passed and we still weren’t sure when we’d be ready for another, but then we saw Blue’s photo and couldn’t stop thinking about him, so we knew we had to submit an application.
We went into it assuming we would have to jump through hoops to get Blue (now Teddy) home to us from China, but No Dogs Left Behind handled every detail and it couldn’t have gone any smoother.
Many thanks to Brandy who was responsive, caring, and genuine throughout the adoption process. We are grateful to everyone involved in this organization for cherishing the lives of these animals, for so bravely rescuing them, and for working hard to find them loving homes.
And we are especially thankful for this sweet, gentle boy who is helping us heal as much as we are helping him.
