“Laifu has been with us for 5 weeks now. Since she arrived she has been nothing but pure joy. We have taken her to stores, to public trails and to meet various people and pets.
Her temperament has never faltered and she has never met a stranger or acted out in any way. She has adjusted to our home without an issue and amazed our vet as to her health and temperament.
Thank you thank you Jeffrey Beri for creating such an amazing organization filled with so many like-spirited individuals whose only concern is to take the second chance you have given these dogs to ready them for their new homes and loving families.
Update: Laifu has been with us for 19 weeks now. She is an amazing soul, one who is patient, playful, well adjusted, healthy and well socialized. I’m happy to say she passed her first Basic Obedience class in June on her journey to becoming a Certified Therapy Dog.
I believe she will be an amazing ambassador who will come to the aid of all she visits.
I feel I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Jeff Beri and his team at No Dogs Left Behind for taking these tortured broken souls and mending them physically, mentally and spiritually to be able to trust again and let their true spirits shine.
