I had a great experience working with NDLB and I recommend them to anyone interested in adopting a dog.

After learning about Asia’s dog meat trade, I was horrified and knew I had to adopt a survivor, but was unsure of the logistics of getting a dog from China to the US. Luckily, I found No Dogs Left Behind and was able to adopt two sweet boys, Muppet (Adam), a miniature poodle mix, and Brando (Kenny), a pug. Jeff, Brandy, Liz, and the whole NDLB team were wonderful to work with. My husband and I adopted Muppet and Brando in April 2020, and from then until they landed in New York in November 2020, I was frequently updated and sent videos.

Jeff and his team are extremely dedicated and brave to rescue these innocent dogs in China. It’s really an incredible accomplishment. Our dogs came home healthy, and they were medically examined while in the NDLB sanctuary in China and received medical care as needed. It was clear from the videos that they were happy and well-cared for while in the sanctuary.

Muppet and Brando are very sweet, loving boys. I was surprised at how quickly they adjusted to living in our home and to our other dogs. They have so much life in them, it would have been tragic if they didn’t get a chance to live out their lives. Muppet loves to run and go on walks, he gets so excited when we walk around our property or go for hikes. He loves belly rubs and cuddling on the couch. Brando is very sweet, he also loves hanging out on the couch and cuddling, and always welcomes a belly rub. I had a great experience working with NDLB and I recommend them to anyone interested in adopting a dog.
