It was such a pleasure volunteering as a foster for Monarch for NDLB. I can see how much love everyone in this organization has for these babies. Monarch was such a sweet shy girl when she first got to New York who has since come out of her shell slowly but surely! I am so happy I was able to care for her for the past couple of months while she awaited her forever home. Liz was so helpful to me and was always there to answer questions and give advice.
She is such a great person and I’m so grateful to have had her as a point of contact at NDLB. I would love to volunteer and work with this rescue again in the future whenever the opportunity arises!
